Korean Bride’s Secrets Revealed!

Do you know that top secrets were revealed last Saturday?Interesting tips and tricks were disclosed from The Korean Bride’s personal diary and The Louvre Bridal Team received first-hand information from the Korean Bride herself during The Korean Bride’s Journal Event, last Saturday 4^th July 2015!

Held at Korea Tourism Organization Singapore, couples who came along got to learn helpful tips on preparing for their special day and also discovered all about Korean Concept Weddings.

Once couples entered, they were greeted with wide radiant smiles. A step into the Korea Plaza already makes you feel a step closer to your dream destination.

While anticipating for the interesting day ahead, couples got to browse through our various portfolios and also create their very own special souvenir. Sponsored by SnapNow, fascinating personalized souvenirs were given away through simple steps of Smartphone photography!

The impressive instant souvenir with a personal touch left both the couples (and us) so amazed that everyone couldn’t resist making them!As the session began, a warm welcome opening was done by The Louvre Bridal Team, introducing our exclusive collaboration with Eesha Ke and Team and also our guest star of the day – The Korean Bride, Ella! As Ella entered the floor and addressed our invited couples, fixed gazes were on her all looking forward to the sharing of her best kept secrets.

We began the event with a Korean makeup demonstration. During the step by step live demonstration, couples were nodding their heads and had eyes glued on the Korean Bride. Since Korean Bridal makeup focuses much on hydration and keeping a youthful look, Ella’s look was completed with a glossy finish and minimal makeup just to enhance facial features and contour her lovely face.Next up, the highlight of our event! The Korean Bride, Ella began the sharing of her undisclosed secrets to being an authentic Korean Bride. Following on from the live demo makeup, Ella explained the Holy Grail tips all brides-to-be should remember.

Of course, without the dress you will never be able to complete your desired look. Dress tips for each unique silhouette were also recommended by Ella, using her soft blue alluring dress from our newest collection worn as a great example for petite shaped bodies!

After our Tips and Tricks Session, couples eagerly awaited to have discussions with our Wedding Advisors to plan for their unique Korean Concept Photography. No matter overseas or local, couples were assured that they were able to achieve the Korean look they long for!

It was early morning but the studio, but everyone was already busy preparing. The makeup artist styling the models, the gown helpers preparing the gowns and photographers prepping the studio’s set etc.  Let’s take a journey through with us into the making of the shoot. Seoul in Love – A Korea Inspired Wedding Show

Are you falling in love with everything about Korea? The Korean inspired wedding event, “Seoul in Love”, held at Korea Tourism Organization Singapore have created the Korean wedding fantasies for bride and grooms-to-be last Saturday. Couples got to explore all about Korea Concept Wedding.

 “Annyeonghaseyo!” Couples were warmly greeted upon their arrival. Stepping into the Korea Plaza, already makes you feel like you’re checking-in to Korea.

While waiting for the exciting line of events to start, couples got to mingle around and have some fun on the Hanbok dress-up. Supported by Live Moments, couples also got to have a snapshot of the instant print taken and brought home.The Korean backdrop and fun props like the fans and headpieces were so traditional.

Soon as everyone settled down, the event started with a welcome speech by emcee Sylvia. Here at the “Seoul in Love” Korean inspired wedding show, everyone would have a thousand and one questions about what a Korean concept pre-wedding photoshoot is, what to expect, when is best to visit etc. And so, we are pleased to invite our Louvre couple, who have completed the Korea wedding photoshoot themselves, to share about their thoughts and experience.

We have with us Kangwei & Jewell, to share about their Korean pre-wedding photoshoot. Kangwei and Jewell enlightened the crowd with their doubts on the process on how the photoshoot cycle is like, how and why it is possible for the Koreans to complete the whole photoshoot in just 1 day! From gown selection, makeup and hairdo, photoshoot to the selection of photos, Kangwei & Jewell recalls the superb efficiency, makeup and photoshoot skills. The couple recommends the Korean concept photoshoot to everyone who wish to have a hassle free Overseas pre-wedding photoshoot, because it is so simple to plan, and nothing really much to prepare as it was all well taken care of there in Korea.

Rejoicing with Jovan & Jurine // Korean Fairytale Theme Wedding

From Korea to Singapore, Jovan and Jurine had a one-stop wedding journey with The Louvre Bridal. Being a K-pop fan, the couple had a Korean inspired theme for their wedding.

The journey began with a trip to Seoul for their Korean Concept pre-wedding photoshoot in Springtime, where the weather was cooling and a scenic spring landscape. The good thing about enjoying the authentic Korean wedding photoshoot is not only about what Korea has to offer through its changing four seasons, but also a unique experience.
Preparing for a Korea pre-wedding shoot trip is simple, because all that you’ll need will be provided at the studios. Imagine the big poofy gowns and groom’s tuxedos.

Jovan and Jurine enjoyed their Korean wedding photoshoot with a Cottage theme studio. Before we take a look at pictures from their wedding album, we shall take a sneak peek into what happens behind the scenes.

Oh look at the adorable puppies they’re holding! That’ll make a very interactive photoshoot “prop”. And the massive outdoor solemnization march-in setup! The huge cottage studio has so many props and backdrop for the couples to explore!

The couple also got featured in a KTO article, on The Sunday Times 19 october 2014, sharing their experience about their photoshoot experience and being treated like Celebrities for a day! 

Hear what Jurine has to say about her Korea wedding experience:

“The concept brought to us by The Louvre Bridal  was perfectly tailored for Hubby and me. First of all, the actual Korean bridal photos always have the Wow factor which we both believe that it must be done by the actual Korean photographers and Korean makeup artiste.

Louvre’s Korean partner has it all, their own comfortable bridal studio where I get to select the gowns, had my magical makeup done and most impressive of all they had their own indoor studio, outdoor garden and cottage house. The outdoor garden are decorated with different themes and best of all, they had pet dogs and rear sheep and donkey which can be participants in our wedding photos. Fear not if you need a translator, Korean studio have a volunteer (who works for the bridal and who speaks English) to translate for us out of goodwill. Perfect!

At Louvre bridal, our wedding coordinator cleared our doubts on the process with a ‘We got married’ clip (reality variety show), the Korean studio that we are going to visit, took part in this show thus it was the best assurance of quality to wedding couples like us. She was kind and patience explaining all the questions I had. Louvre team worked hard on researching and coordinating. Working with them for our Korean photography felt like an adventure that we look forward to.

Upon reaching Korea studio, our comfort and welfare are their top priority, nothing is compromised within that high efficiency level they had. Management of time to them was having 2 pairs of hand on your hair (styling it like a princess braid), makeup was done concurrently and the Korean coordinator had sharp eyes to select the ideal gown for me. The experienced photographer created the atmosphere for projection of our expression. The pet dogs: ShaSha, Judy and Judy’s puppies were very interactive and posed well for our shoots. After the photography session ends, we selected the photos on the day itself. Hubby and I do not feel tired at all as we were very well taken care of by them.

The day when we received our album at The Louvre Bridal, we were thrown back to the enjoyable time once again while flipping our album. All our micro expression was captured beautifully. Kamsahamnida to all the people in the korean studio! It’s an everlasting memory for hubby and me.”

The eye-catching turquoise ballgown sparkles as she makes her second entrance, princess perfect with a matching tiara!

Being the setter, we have organized a Korean Makeup workshop last weekend, to share why it is so different, and of course some Korean makeup tips that you can also learn to achieve that K-makeup look! We have with us our very exclusive Korean makeup stylist to demonstrate, let’s check out the happenings on that day.

Dewy skin:
Have you ever notice that in most of the Korean dramas, the female leads actually do not put on a lot of makeup? One key trend is the dewy, radiant skin.
Koreans enjoy a more dewy finish rather which is mean watery light skin than the typical matte finish.

Straight bushy eyebrow:
The straight brow can be found atop the eyes of Korean celebrities.
Possessing no arch, It is meant to lent the innocence and youthful looks. Top it off with some eyebrow mascara, so soften the color of the brows. This will also draw the attention to the eyes.

Puppy Eyeliner:
Most asians’ eyes are almond shaped. Having the puppy eyeliner is again to create an innocent look and to elongate the eyes. To achieve it, simply draw the eyeliner sloping it downwards and on the waterline.

Individual False Lashes:
By applying the false lashes in individual segments, it creates a very natural and enlarged eyes as compared with false lashes in a whole stripes.  According to our Korean stylist, it takes lots of practice and skill to master the individual lashes’ application.
